External Quality Assessment (EQA)
How It Works
You can get External Quality Assessment (EQA) samples from Pathologists Overseas to use for your quality monitoring. We are partnered with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (RCPA) who generously provides EQA material.
1.
We will work with you to enroll your lab online and ship to you the EQA material.
2.
You implement a program to perform regular, systematic testing at your location, and then report the results online.
3.
We will review your performance monthly and send you both mailed and electronic reports about your performance in each challenge.
EQA IS NOT PUNITIVE. It is intended as an educational and quality tool to help each enrolled laboratory manage and improve clinical testing. In the past we have shown that enrollment in proficiency testing provides a simple, effective, and transferable way to improve laboratory quality and reliability.
