What your donation buys
PO works collaboratively with labs in under-resourced areas who request our intensive mentorship and additional resources to improve the health of the people they serve. Patients and the clinicians who are treating them need access to accurate and timely diagnosis. It is our mission to assist these labs in improving health care for their communities. By working in partnership, the labs we mentor are able to better help patients with malaria, diabetes, HIV, and other diseases to get the care they need.
$100 = 1 new lab enrolled in our programs
$500 = a 2-hour customized training session for lab staff
$2500 = provide a week of onsite technical support for LIS or EQA
$5000 = a 10-module LQMS training program
$10,000 = purchase equipment needed by lab for LIS installation
