Registration Now Open: Laboratory Quality Management Systems (LQMS) Course
Pathologists Overseas is excited to partner with BioMed Connect, a Zambia-based organization that mentors biomedical science students and recent graduates, to offer a virtual Laboratory Quality Management Systems (LQMS) course beginning November 3, 2026!
Based on the World Health Organization (WHO) Laboratory Quality Management System toolkit, the course was designed by Dr. Jeannette Guarner and Dr. Emily Glynn, President of Pathologists Overseas.
The course is designed for medical laboratory professionals with a focus on clinical chemistry and will cover key areas of laboratory quality management to help participants strengthen quality practices in their laboratories.
Course Details
Dates: November 3, 2026 – January 19, 2027
Schedule: Tuesdays, with no sessions on December 22 or 29.
Time:
7:00–9:00 PM Central Africa Time (CAT)
8:00–10:00 PM East Africa Time (EAT)
6:00–8:00 PM West Africa Time (WAT)
Format: Live, virtual lectures via Zoom
Course Materials: Available through our Learning Management System (LMS)
How to Register
There are two steps to complete registration:

Create an account and enroll in the course through our LMS. After submitting the registration form, participants will be directed to our Learning Management System to complete their enrollment and access course materials and resources.
Please note that weekly lectures will take place live on Zoom, not through the LMS. Zoom information and additional course details will be shared with registered participants before the course begins.
